The Virginia Supplemental Retirement System, a body corporate and aretirement system for teachers, state employees, and employees ofparticipating political subdivisions, shall be continued as the VirginiaRetirement System. Wherever the term "Virginia Supplemental RetirementSystem" appears in the Code of Virginia, it shall mean the VirginiaRetirement System.
