§ 51.1-167. Retirement allowance to be reduced in certain cases.

In the case of any state employee whose compensation is not paid exclusivelyout of the state treasury and in the case of any teacher whose compensationis paid out of any fund not derived from local revenues or stateappropriations, if any contributor other than the Commonwealth is in defaultin the payment of any required contribution, the total retirement allowanceto which the employee would have been entitled but for the default shall bereduced by the amount of the retirement allowance provided by the defaultedcontribution.
