§ 51.1-814. Employing such presumption in determining eligibility forbenefits.

The presumption established in § 51.1-813 shall be employed in determiningeligibility for death, retirement, sickness, and other benefits, providedpursuant to any other provision of law, the charter of any city or town, orotherwise, for any member of a county, city, or town police department orsheriff or deputy sheriff who dies or becomes totally or partially disabled.
