§ 53.1-111. Work of prisoners.
All prisoners convicted and sentenced or transferred to a jail or jail farmshall be required to work on the jail or jail farm or on any other propertyas the board may direct, unless for good cause shown the court sentencing andcommitting such prisoners shall order otherwise.
