§ 53.1-213. Escape of person in custody pursuant to detainer.

Any person who is in the custody of an officer of this Commonwealth pursuantto a detainer issued in accordance with this chapter and who escapes fromsuch custody shall be guilty of a felony and punished by confinement in astate correctional facility for not less than one nor more than five years.
