§ 54.1-2966.1. Physicians reporting disabilities of drivers.

Any physician who reports to the Department of Motor Vehicles the existence,or probable existence, of a mental or physical disability or infirmity of anyperson licensed to operate a motor vehicle which the physician believesaffects such person's ability to operate a motor vehicle safely shall not bedeemed to have violated the physician-patient privilege unless he has actedin bad faith or with malicious intent.
