§ 54.1-3811. Veterinary professionals rendering services without chargeexempt from liability.

Any person licensed by the Board of Veterinary Medicine who, in good faithand without charge or compensation, renders health care services within thelimits of his license to any animal, shall not be liable for civil damagesfor any act or omission resulting from the rendering of such services unlesssuch act or omission was the result of that person's gross negligence orwillful misconduct.
