The freeholders shall return their certificate, with the warrant, to theclerk of the circuit court of the county, or clerk of the corporation courtof the city, who shall record the same in a book kept for that purpose andpost a copy thereof at the front door of his courthouse on the first day oftwo terms of court next after receiving the certificate.
