§ 55-279. Right to release.

Unless the instrument creating the power specifically provides to thecontrary, the donee of a power, whether now existing or hereafter created,may:

(1) At any time completely release his power;

(2) At any time or times release his power (a) as to any property which issubject thereto; (b) as to any one or more of the objects thereof; or (c) soas to limit in any other respect the extent to which it may be exercised.
