§ 56-265.30. Authority of the State Corporation Commission.

A. The Commission shall enforce the provisions of the Underground UtilityDamage Prevention Act as set out in this chapter. The Commission maypromulgate any rules or regulations necessary to implement the Commission'sauthority to enforce this chapter.

B. Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to authorize the Commission topromulgate any rules or regulations pursuant to its authority to enforce thischapter that require any person, other than jurisdictional gas or hazardousliquid operators, to report to the Commission any probable violation of thischapter or any incident involving damage, dislocation or disturbance of anyutility line.
