§ 56-470. Messages to be delivered or forwarded promptly.

Every telegraph company, upon the arrival of a dispatch or message at thepoint to which it is to be transmitted, shall cause the same to be forwardedby a messenger to the person to whom the same is addressed, or his agent.Upon the payment of any charges due on the dispatch or message such companyshall deliver it if such person or agent resides within the city orincorporated town in which the station is, if the regulations of the companyrequire such delivery.
