§ 57-29. Trustees.

After acquiring and planning such cemetery or cemeteries, the circuit courtof the county wherein the cemetery is located shall appoint not less thanfive nor more than nine trustees, who shall reside in the city or county, forthe purpose of managing and controlling such cemetery. The trustees shallhave the power to convey lots in the cemetery in accordance with the planthereof, without authority of court, and to include in deeds of conveyancesuch reasonable restrictions and conditions as they deem advisable, and shallhave all other powers granted by general law to trustees of cemeteries. Suchtrustees shall, before entering upon the performance of their duties, givebond with approved security and in such penalty as the court determines forthe faithful performance of their duties.
