§ 58.1-414. Sales factor.

The sales factor is a fraction, the numerator of which is the total sales ofthe corporation in the Commonwealth during the taxable year, and thedenominator of which is the total sales of the corporation everywhere duringthe taxable year, to the extent that such sales are used to produce Virginiataxable income and are effectively connected with the conduct of a trade orbusiness within the United States and income therefrom is includable infederal taxable income.
