§ 58.1-3106. How compensation of commissioners paid; when compensationwithheld.

A. All compensation payable to a commissioner of the revenue shall be paidpursuant to § 15.2-1636.13.

B. The compensation allowed to a commissioner shall not be paid unless he haspunctually performed his duties in reference to the assessment of propertyand licenses and has made all reports required within the time prescribed bylaw or can show to the satisfaction of the Department of Taxation asufficient reason for his delay.
