As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the followingmeanings:
"Bank" means a bank as defined in § 6.1-4.
"Compliance Review Committee" means a committee appointed by a bank's or bya savings institution's board of directors for the purpose of evaluating andimproving the bank's or savings institution's compliance with federal andstate laws and adherence to its own established ethical and financialstandards. The definition of compliance review committee includes any otherperson when that person acts in an investigatory capacity at the direction ofa compliance review committee; however, the work product created by anyperson prior to his participation in the work of the compliance reviewcommittee or at the direction of the compliance review committee shall besubject to the rules governing discovery in accordance with the Rules of theVirginia Supreme Court.
"Person" means an individual, group of individuals, board, committee,partnership, firm, association, corporation or other entity.
"Savings institution" means a savings institution as defined in § 6.1-194.2.
