§ 6.1-431.20. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Fines for violations.

The Commission may impose a fine or penalty not exceeding $2,500 upon anyindividual required to be licensed under this chapter who it determines, inproceedings commenced in accordance with the Rules of Practice and Procedureof the Commission, has violated any of the provisions of this chapter, or anyother law or regulation applicable to the licensee's activities. For thepurposes of this section, each separate violation shall be subject to thefine or penalty herein prescribed, and each day that an unlicensed individualacts as or holds himself out to the general public as, a mortgage loanoriginator shall constitute a separate violation.
