§ 6.1-436. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Investigations.

The Commission may, by its designated officers and employees, upon receivinga complaint or upon its own motion, investigate the affairs, business,premises and records of any person required to be registered under thischapter. In the course of such investigation, all persons associated with theperson being investigated shall afford full access to all premises, books,records and information which the person making such investigation deemsnecessary. For the foregoing purposes, the person making such investigationshall have authority to administer oaths, examine under oath all theaforementioned persons, and compel the production of documents and objects ofall kinds.
