§ 6.1-125.4. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Effect of divorce.

Upon the entry of a decree of divorce, either a mensa et thoro or a vinculomatrimonii, all rights of either consort in any multiple-party account thenexisting between them, including the right of survivorship, shall beextinguished; and any joint account then existing between the consorts shallthereupon be converted into a tenancy in common, in the proportions providedin § 6.1-125.3 A, unless otherwise ordered by the court.
