§ 6.2-1115. (Effective October 1, 2010) Formation of state savingsinstitutions.

A. A stock savings and loan association may be incorporated as provided inthe Virginia Stock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-601 et seq.). A mutual savings andloan association may be incorporated as provided in the Virginia NonstockCorporation Act (§ 13.1-801 et seq.).

B. A stock savings bank may be formed by being incorporated as provided inthe Virginia Stock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-601 et seq.). A mutual savingsbank may be formed by being incorporated as provided in the Virginia NonstockCorporation Act (§ 13.1-801 et seq.).
