§ 6.2-1705. (Effective October 1, 2010) Coordination of licensing.

In connection with its administration and enforcement of this chapter, theCommission is authorized to establish agreements or contracts with theRegistry or other entities designated by the Registry to collect, distribute,and maintain information and records, and to process transaction fees andother fees, related to licensees and other persons subject to this chapter.When establishing such agreements or contracts the Commission shall not besubject to the Virginia Public Procurement Act (§ 2.2-4300 et seq.).Notwithstanding the provisions of § 6.2-101, the Commission shall reportregularly to the Registry any violations of this chapter, enforcementactions, and license status changes. The Commission shall report to theRegistry only those violations, actions, and license status changes effectedby final order of the Commission or by the Commissioner pursuant to hisdelegated authority.
