§ 6.2-1719. (Effective October 1, 2010) Civil penalties.

The Commission may impose a civil penalty not exceeding $2,500 upon anyindividual required to be licensed under this chapter who it determines, inproceedings commenced in accordance with the Commission's Rules, has violatedany of the provisions of this chapter or any other law or regulationapplicable to the licensee's activities. For the purposes of this section,each separate violation shall be subject to the civil penalty hereinprescribed, and each day that an unlicensed individual acts as or holdshimself out to the general public as, a mortgage loan originator shallconstitute a separate violation.
