§ 6.2-407. (Effective October 1, 2010) Lenders to furnish borrower with copyof appraisal.

Any lender that requires a borrower or prospective borrower to pay for anappraisal of residential real estate made in connection with a loan orapplication for a loan secured by the real estate shall, upon request by theborrower or prospective borrower, furnish free of charge the borrower orprospective borrower with a copy of the written appraisal or, if no writtenappraisal exists, with a statement of the appraised value within 10 businessdays of the receipt of such request.
