§ 6.2-436. (Effective October 1, 2010) Compliance with federal law.

Every person subject to the provisions of 15 U.S.C. § 1601 et seq. andFederal Reserve Board Regulation Z (12 C.F.R. Part 226) shall comply withsuch statutes and regulations when offering or extending consumer credit asdefined therein. A lender who fails to comply with this section shall not besubject to any liability or penalty beyond those imposed by such federalstatutes and regulations.
