§ 60.2-118. Civil action to enforce title; actions on behalf of other states.

A. In any civil action to enforce the provisions of this title the Commissionand the Commonwealth may be represented by the Office of the Attorney General.

B. The Office of the Attorney General may commence actions in thisCommonwealth as agent for, or on behalf of, any other state:

1. To enforce judgments and liability for unemployment insurance taxes duesuch other state; or

2. To collect unemployment benefit overpayments of such state if such stateextends like comity to this Commonwealth.

C. Venue for such actions shall be the same as for actions to enforce theprovisions of this title.
