§ 63.2-1807. Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation; do notresuscitate orders.

The owners or operators of any assisted living facility may provide thattheir employees who are certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)shall not be required to resuscitate any resident for whom a valid writtenorder not to resuscitate in the event of cardiac or respiratory arrest hasbeen issued by the attending physician and has been included in theresident's individualized service plan.
