§ 63.2-2103. Management of the Family and Children's Trust Fund.

All funds received shall be paid to the treasury of Virginia, which shall becustodian of the Family and Children's Trust Fund. Such funds shall be setaside as a separate fund and shall be managed by the Treasurer of Virginia atthe discretion of the Board. The net earnings of the Trust Fund shall notinure to the benefit of any private person or entity, except that the Boardof Trustees may authorize payment of reasonable compensation for goodsprovided and services rendered and may authorize disbursements in furtheranceof the purpose set forth in § 63.2-2100. The Trust Fund shall not carry onpropaganda, or otherwise attempt, to influence legislation as a substantialpart of its activities; and it shall not participate or intervene, bypublishing or distributing statements or by other means, in any politicalcampaign on behalf of any candidate for public office. If the Trust Fund isdissolved, any assets remaining after payment, or provision for payment, ofall claims against it shall be distributed to the Commonwealth for publicpurposes.
