§ 66-23. Authority of superintendents with regard to application foroperator's licenses and employment certificates.

The superintendents of facilities established by the Department shall havethe authority, commensurate with that of a parent in like cases, to giveconsent for those children placed in their respective facilities to (i)application for a motor vehicle operator's license and (ii) issuance of anemployment certificate. Such authority shall be exercised in accordance withregulations established by the Board.
