Before entering upon the duties of office, each election official shall take an oath to honestly, faithfully, and promptly perform the duties of office. Any appointed election official, including an appointed election official who has not personally subscribed to the oath, may administer the oath to another election official. The chairperson of the election board shall rotate the time at which election officials may be relieved for meals.
