        12.6  REPORT TO AND ACCOUNT WITH DIRECTOR OF THE
      DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES.
         Once in each week the treasurer shall certify to the director of
      the department of administrative services the number, date, amount,
      and payee of each warrant taken up by the treasurer, with the date
      when taken up, and the amount of interest allowed; and on the first
      Monday of January, and the first day of April, July, and October,
      annually, the treasurer is directed to account with the director of
      the department of administrative services and deposit with the
      department of administrative services all such warrants received at
      the treasury, and take the director's receipt therefor.
