8.29  REGENTS UNIVERSITIES -- UNIFORM ACCOUNTING
 SYSTEM.
 The state board of regents, with the approval of the director of
 the department of management, shall establish a uniform budgeting and
 accounting system for the institutions of higher education under its
 control, and shall require each of the institutions of higher
 education to begin operating under the uniform system not later than
 June 30, 1994.
