        8.8  SPECIAL OLYMPICS FUND -- APPROPRIATION.
         A special olympics fund is created in the office of the treasurer
      of state under the control of the department of management.  There is
      appropriated annually from the general fund of the state to the
      special olympics fund fifty thousand dollars for distribution to one
      or more organizations which administer special olympics programs
      benefiting the citizens of Iowa with disabilities.
