469.34 FINANCIAL INCENTIVES FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY PRODUCTS -- AUTHORIZATION. The Iowa power fund board, with the assistance of the office of energy independence and other appropriate state agencies, may provide financial incentives and adopt necessary rules pursuant to chapter 17A in relation to the following: 1. Research, development, and commercialization of renewable energy. 2. Market development of renewable energy, including but not limited to public education, quality testing, transportation, transmission, and infrastructure.
