501.108 QUO WARRANTO. The attorney general alone shall have the right to inquire into whether a cooperative has the right to exist or continue under this chapter. If the secretary of state is informed that a cooperative is not functioning as a cooperative, the secretary of state shall notify the attorney general. If the attorney general finds reasonable cause that the cooperative is not functioning as provided under this chapter, the attorney general shall bring action to wind up the affairs of the cooperative.
