Statutes > Iowa > Title-15 > Subtitle-1 > Chapter-595 > 595-18 595.18 ISSUE LEGITIMATIZED. Children born outside of a marriage become legitimate by the subsequent marriage of their parents. Children born of a marriage contracted in violation of section 595.3 or 595.19 are legitimate.
