Statutes > Iowa > Title-15 > Subtitle-3 > Chapter-617 > 617-1 617.1 PROCESS -- CRIMINAL DEFENDANT. Any defendant in any criminal action pending or to be brought in any court in the state of Iowa may be served with process, either civil or criminal, in any other action pending or to be brought against the defendant in the courts of this state while the defendant is present in this state, either voluntarily or involuntarily.
