Statutes > Iowa > Title-15 > Subtitle-5 > Chapter-654 > 654-3 654.3 VENUE. An action for the foreclosure of a mortgage of real property, or for the sale thereof under an encumbrance or charge thereon, shall be brought in the county in which the property to be affected, or some part thereof, is situated.
