 70A.2  PROMOTION, DISCHARGE, DEMOTION OR SUSPENSION --
 ABSENCE FOR MEDICALLY RELATED DISABILITY NOT CONSIDERED.
 When supported by the verification of the attending physician that
 an absence is necessary in the best interest of the health and
 well-being of the employee, an absence for medically related
 disability shall not be considered in actions for promotion,
 discharge, demotion or suspension of the employee.
