        85.52  CONSULAR OFFICER AS TRUSTEE.
         Such consular officer or the officer's duly appointed
      representative resident in the state of Iowa shall file in the
      district court of the county in which the accident occurred resulting
      in the death of said employee evidence of the officer's or
      representative's authority, and thereupon the court shall appoint the
      officer or representative a trustee for such nonresident alien
      dependents, and thereafter the officer or representative shall be
      subject to the jurisdiction of said court until the final report of
      distribution and payment has been filed and approved.  Such consular
      official or said representative shall qualify as such trustee by
      giving bond with approved sureties in a sum to be fixed by said
      court, and the amount of said bond may be increased or decreased from
      time to time as said court may direct.
