169.7  STATUS OF PERSONS PREVIOUSLY LICENSED.
 Any person holding a valid license to practice veterinary medicine
 in this state on January 1, 1979 shall be recognized as a licensed
 veterinarian and shall be entitled to retain this status as long as
 licensee complies with the provisions of this chapter.
