173.12  SALARY OF TREASURER.
 The treasurer shall receive such compensation for services as the
 board may fix, not to exceed five hundred dollars a year, and shall
 be paid a per diem as specified in section 7E.6 and shall be
 reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred while engaged
 in official duties.
