216A.55 OBJECTIVES OF COMMISSION.Section History: Recent Form
The commission shall study the changing needs and problems of the
women of this state, and develop and recommend new programs and
constructive action to the governor and the general assembly,
including but not limited to, the following areas:
1. Public and private employment policies and practices.
2. Iowa labor laws.
3. Legal treatment relating to political and civil rights.
4. The family and the employed woman.
5. Expanded programs to help women as wives, mothers, and
workers.
6. Women as citizen volunteers.
7. Education.
