 222.55  PROCEDURE REGARDING A PERSON WITH MENTAL
 ILLNESS.
 If it appears at any time that a person has under the provisions
 of this chapter been committed to a private institution and should be
 evaluated and treated in a hospital for persons with mental illness,
 the person may be hospitalized under any of the provisions of
 sections 229.2 to 229.15.
