263.22  MEDICAL CARE FOR PAROLEES AND PERSONS ON WORK
 RELEASE.
 The director of the department of corrections may send former
 inmates of the institutions provided for in section 904.102, while on
 parole or work release, to the university of Iowa hospitals and
 clinics for treatment and care.  The director may pay the traveling
 expenses of any such patient, and when necessary the traveling
 expenses of an attendant of the patient, out of funds appropriated
 for the use of the department of corrections.
