        266.34  STATE EXTENSION FRUIT SPECIALIST.
         The Iowa cooperative extension service in agriculture and home
      economics shall employ a state extension fruit specialist to provide
      leadership in the development of a broader array of educational
      materials and field staff training.  The materials on training should
      provide, in popular and practical terms, the available research at
      Iowa state university of science and technology and elsewhere that
      will enable area and county extension services to expand their
      efforts with existing and potential fruit growers for marketing in or
      outside of this state.
