272A.2  DESIGNATED STATE OFFICIAL.
 The designated state official for this state, within the meaning
 of section 272A.1, article II, paragraph "b", of the interstate
 agreement on qualification of educational personnel, shall be the
 executive director of the board of educational examiners.  The
 executive director shall enter into contracts pursuant to section
 272A.1, article III, of the agreement only with the approval of the
 specific text thereof by the board of educational examiners.
