306.8 TRANSFER OF JURISDICTION. Prior to a change in jurisdiction of a road or street, the unit ofgovernment having jurisdiction shall either place the road or streetand any structures on the road or street in good repair or providefor the transfer of money to the appropriate jurisdiction in anamount sufficient for the repairs to the road or street and anystructures on the road or street. Transfers of the jurisdiction and control of roads and streets maytake place if agreements are entered into between the jurisdictionsof government involved in the transfer of such roads and streets.
