Statutes > Iowa > Title-8 > Subtitle-1 > Chapter-311 > 311-20 311.20 VARIATION BETWEEN ESTIMATED AND ACTUAL COST. Any variation between the engineer's estimated cost and the actual cost of a secondary road assessment district project shall in no way affect the validity of the assessment. It is the intent of this chapter that the assessment shall be based on the estimated cost and not on the actual cost.
