Statutes > Iowa > Title-9 > Subtitle-4 > Chapter-411 > 411-12 411.12 CITY OBLIGATIONS. The creation and maintenance of moneys in the fire and police retirement fund as provided for the payment of all pensions and other benefits granted under the provisions of this chapter and all expenses in connection with the administration and operation of the retirement system are hereby made direct liability obligations of the cities participating in the retirement system.
