12:6A-4.Ā Repair and reconstruction of certain bulkheads
The State Department of Conservation and Economic Development is authorizedĀ and empowered to repair, reconstruct, or construct bulkheads, seawalls,Ā breakwaters, groins or jetties along the New Jersey shores and estuaries ofĀ Upper New York bay, Lower New York bay and Newark bay to repair damage causedĀ by erosion and storm, to prevent erosion and to stabilize the estuaries.
