13:1L-5.Ā Duties
The department shall:
a.Ā Provide recreational activities and programs within State parks and forests for the benefit of the State's citizens;
b.Ā Strive to provide recreational opportunities to all segments of the State's population and may provide transportation for urban residents to the State parks and forests;
c.Ā Conduct and promote cultural activities, such as plays, movies and exhibits, at State parks and forests and at other locations throughout the State;
d.Ā Prepare and implement a master plan and a management plan for each StateĀ park and forest.
